R&P is looking for a motivated individual who wants to join our team supporting a major PEO SHIPS program in Washington, DC. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a Senior Business & Financial Analyst ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment.

  • Provide programming, budgeting and execution support
  • Execute and track funding, spend plan development, and detailed cost reporting and analysis using the relevant financial systems including ERP, PRISMS, Standard Accounting and Reporting System (STARS), and AUTODOC.
  • Assist in tracking commitments, obligations and expenditures in the ERP & STARS database to ensure contractors and field activities are meeting periodic targets, and developing cost incurred reports for all funds used in the accomplishment of Program Office efforts.
  • Prepare and manage Task Planning Sheets
  • Support all phases of the DoD Planning Programming Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process including the development of Program Objective Memorandum (POM)/PR briefs and issue papers, budget submissions and justification, and the execution of program funding.
  • Interface with HQ personnel, field activities, and contractors to collect, analyze, interpret and collate budget data and justification to support budget submissions.
  • Assist with gathering data and compiling information in response to data calls.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial presentations as directed.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or High School Diploma and 15 years of financial analyst experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated in-depth experience and specialized knowledge in the field; professional experience working with the PPBE process
  • Experience using ERP, PRISMS, AUTODOC, STARS, NHS (Docs), and PDOCS
  • Current access to ERP and PRISMS
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook is required.
  • The candidate must have sharp analytical and research skills as well as provide exceptional customer service.
  • The candidate must have the ability to collaborate with team members, multi-task and adapt to change.
