Overview

R&P is looking for a motivated individual who wants to join our team supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Philadelphia Division in Philadelphia, PA. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a Computer Systems Analyst III ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the acquisition, installation, operations, maintenance and usage of a network system, including local/wide area networks, VPNs, and switches on U.S. Navy ships.
  • Perform configuration, health and wellness monitoring, maintenance activities and data/trend analysis.
  • Support installations onboard US Navy ships.
  • Perform troubleshooting and day-to-day functions (i.e., installation, patch management).
  • Support dry runs, document fixes and troubleshooting efforts.
  • Set up data management, switches, and firewalls (Virtual and Physical).
  • Resolve complex networking/routing issues.
  • Conduct data path analysis.
  • Must be able to perform up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering, or a Cyber Security related degree from an ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) accredited program.
  • Four (4) years of professional experience in cyber security engineering.
  • One (1) year of professional experience with IT infrastructure, networks, and/or network security.
  • Possess Security+ Certification.
  • Possess CISSP Certification.
  • One (1) year of professional experience using vulnerability analysis tools.
  • One (1) year of professional experience maintaining and configuring various operating systems such as Windows, Linux, VxWorks, or other Embedded Operating Systems.
  • One (1) year of professional experience with cyber controls such as intrusion detection systems, intrusion prevention system, firewall configurations, and access control lists.
  • One (1) year of professional experience developing and/or maintaining new and/or existing cyber security requirements.
  • Must be able to obtain required Information Assurance (IA) certifications within one year of employment.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • SECRET security clearance is required.
