R&P is looking for a motivated individual who wants to join our team supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Philadelphia Division in Philadelphia, PA. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a Computer Systems Analyst II ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment.

  • Support development of operator workstations, instrumentation, and remote I/O and associated computer components in support of shipboard control systems for U.S. Navy ships.
  • Support development and maintenance of simulation/stimulation computers and networks.
  • Install and configure system files in support of shipboard machinery and steering control systems.
  • Coordinate and conduct test of machinery systems components on-site and aboard ships.
  • Provide basic training support for installed shipboard control systems equipment.
  • Identify and solve problems related to software systems design and equipment installations and develop field modification/ship alteration requests as required.
  • Prepare technical documentation such as reports, procedures and test plans in support of installation or field investigation efforts.
  • Must be able to travel up to 10%.


  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering or a Cyber Security related degree from an ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) accredited program.
  • Two (2) years of professional experience in cyber security engineering.
  • Possess Security+ Certification or CISSP Certification.
  • One (1) year of professional experience with vulnerability analysis tools.
  • One (1) year of professional experience maintaining and configuring various operating systems such as Windows, Linux, VxWorks, or other Embedded Operating Systems.
  • Must be able to obtain required Information Assurance (IA) certifications within one year of employment.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • SECRET security clearance is required.
