Overview

R&P is looking for a motivated individual who wants to join our team supporting a major PEO SHIPS program in Washington, DC. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a Configuration Management Analyst ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Configuration Management Support to the CVN 79 Production PAPM.
  • Assist with managing and tracking the configurations of CVN 78 Systems.
  • Support development of, and archive Headquarter Modification Requests (HMRs) and Field Modification Requests (FMRs) on to the IDE and process letters for signature.
  • Review and process CM correspondence.
  • Participate in the Proposed Change Board (PCB).
  • Prepare and distribute Configuration Control Board (CCB) agenda.
  • Participate in the Configuration Control Board (CCB).
  • Maintain and update the Configuration Management Database.
  • Load configuration management information onto the IDE.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 4-10 Years NAVSEA Program Office experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of New Construction, Post Delivery and Engineering Support
  • Must possess and exercise diplomatic tact and have the capability and capacity to develop and manage complex business relationships with multiple organizations.
  • Must be proficient in the full suite of Microsoft Office products and tools.
  • SECRET security clearance.
