Overview

R&P is looking for a motivated individual who wants to join our team supporting a major PEO SHIPS program in Washington, DC. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need an Integrated Logistics Support Analyst ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide services for maintenance planning, supply support, design interface, training and training support, facilities, technical data/publications, manpower and personnel, technical manuals, computer resources support, packing, handling storage & transportation, support & test equipment, Reliability Availability Maintainability (RAM) analysis, contract deliverables (DRL), configuration management, Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) management, Information management and ILS special studies.
  • Assist in the development of Performance Based Logistics (PBL) and interim support solutions. Provide assistance in determining how PBL and interim support can be integrated with organic infrastructure.
  • Assist in developing phased logistics approach that define broad logistics concepts early and then becomes more defined and detailed as programs mature.
  • Provide analysis, assistance and support in the development and maintenance of Logistics Resource Funding plans or equivalent.
  • Develop, review and update logistics plan, products or analyses to include ALSP, LCSP, training curricula, training materials, manpower requirements, maintenance plans, supply support management plans, technical manuals/technical drawings, and reliability/maintainability analyses.
  • Provide expert acquisition technical support in the primary logistics areas to include maintenance planning, supply support, technical data, configuration management, design interface, facilities, PHS&T and related areas
  • Provide expert level support in management of acquisition activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree (BS/BA) in a related field
  • Minimum of 6 years of demonstrated in-depth experience and specialized knowledge in the field
  • Working knowledge of Naval ships outfitting
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting DOD ILS acquisition and life cycle documentation
  • SECRET security clearance
