    R&P Technologies is looking for a dynamic and motivated Technical Recruiter who wants to learn and grow with our company! We are a growing Engineering Services firm that supports DoD and DHS. The ideal candidate will have previous experience recruiting in the government contractor sector, particularly working with the US Navy and US Coast Guard.

    As R&P’s Technical Recruiter, you will be responsible for providing highly qualified candidates with various skillsets and levels to support Hiring Managers for their open positions. You will be required to work closely with the Director of Business Development and Hiring Managers to understand their business needs and provide a sound strategy on how to staff their positions. You will also support proposal development, company branding and marketing efforts. Some travel may be required for this position. Specific job duties and responsibilities are described below.


    • Responsible for full cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals across all levels within multiple business units.
    • Develop strong relationships and partner with Hiring Managers and business leaders.
    • Work closely with Hiring Managers to maximize effectiveness of recruiting process.
    • Develop and execute comprehensive recruiting strategies utilizing all tools such as direct sourcing, online resume databases, social networking, and job fairs.
    • Work with hiring managers to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.
    • Regular follow-up with respective Hiring Managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process.
    • Assist proposal teams in developing staffing plans according to proposal requirements, drafting the staffing narratives, identifying key personnel and formatting proposal resumes, and drafting summary statements highlighting the team’s technical expertise and experience.
    • Assist with the branding and marketing of the company through company newsletters, company website, social media, technology conferences/expos and job fairs.




    • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of the full lifecycle recruitment process.
    • 5 plus years of Staffing/Recruitment experience.
    • 3 years recruiting experience with a government contractor.
    • Experience using a variety of online recruitment tools and applicant tracking systems (iCIMS experience is a plus).
    • Strong understanding and ability to recruit at all levels of the organization from entry level to corporate staff.
    • Knowledge of EEO, ADA and OFCCP requirements.
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse teams and handle many tasks simultaneously, often with inflexible tight deadlines.
    • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal clients and external candidates, both verbally and in writing.
    • Decisive ability to shift priorities and function effectively in a dynamic, fast paced work culture.
    • Strong understanding of the recruiting aspects involved in the Government proposal environment.
    • Flexibility to work surge hours as required during proposal time frames.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and team-based project experience.
    • Strong work ethic is a must.
    • Ability to with minimal supervision and guidance is essential.
    • Proposal development experience is a plus.

    • Must be able and willing to travel.

    • Secret Security Clearance desired.
