  • Overview

    R&P is looking for a driven candidate who wants to join our US Navy PMS 377 Production Support Team. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical Test Engineer ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Monitor equipment installations
    • Perform test witnessing
    • Validate an extensive range of US Navy HM&E systems and assocaite support equipment
    • Able to demonstrate prior experience with hands on HM&E testing experience in various areas

    Qualifications

    • Must posses at least 6 years of testing experience 
    • Must have at least 3 years of hands on testing experience with multiple areas of Combat Systems to include:
      • Auxiliary Systems
      • DC systems
      • Vents, drains, and overflows
      • Hydrostatic testing
      • Hull fitting installation and testing
      • AC&R, HVAC, safety devices, food refrigeration
      • CPS testing
      • Deck hatches and fittings
      • Pull testing
      • MCS testing
      • IC euipment and systems
      • Electrical distribution systems
    • Associates degree as an electronics technician or equivalent Amphibious Ship experience is preferred
    • Current US DOD Secret Security Clearance is Required
