Overview

R&P is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager who wants to join our team. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a Engineering Manager ready to join a fast-paced and exciting program to redesign and improve the U.S. Naval Shipyard capabilities for the U.S. Navy.

Responsibilities

  • Provides the Program Office with expertise and experience in researching, planning, budgeting, maintaining, conducting, and executing technical support for Ships.
  • Assists in developing presentations, point papers and talking points as required.
  • Coordinates with other Subject Matter Experts and area Task Leads suppoting the execution of a variety of Systems Engineering functions.
  • Provides additional technical support to cover increased workload as required.
  • Drafts, documents and archives meeting minutes, as tasked.
  • Interfaces directly with the Government client and external organizations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a technical field
  • 5 or more years relevant experience supporting U.S. Navy Program Office(s)/Ships in engineering and testing.
  • LCS Experience
  • Active Secret Clearance
