Overview

R&P is looking for an experienced Junior Program Analyst who wants to join our team. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a Junior Program Analyst ready to join a fast-paced and exciting program to redesign and improve the U.S. Naval Shipyard capabilities for the U.S. Navy.

Responsibilities

  • Support a team of engineering and analyst personnel in the execution of Production, Planning & Engineering and/or Test and Evaluation.
  • Assists with the development and tracking of schedules.
  • Create and administer tracking tools across a variety of functional areas.
  • Support the development of briefs, documents and other official correspondence.
  • Interact with various government organization to promote effective communication and to forward program objectives.
  • Conducts periodic shipyard visits and participate in quarterly Shipbuilding Production Progress Conference (SPPCs), Production Readiness Reviews (PRRs), Integrated Base Line Reviews (IBRs), Launch Readiness Reviews and Trials Readiness Reviews, as directed.
  • Assists in the management of the procurement and delivery of GFE/GFI provided to shipbuilders.
  • Interfaces with the industry team as required.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business or technical field
  • 0-5 years relevant experience in engineering/science management, production management or schedule analysis.
  • Experience in U.S. Navy programs or operations.
  • Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one
