Overview

R&P is looking for a motivated candidate to function as a Configuration Management Analyst on our DDG-51 Ship Production Planning and Engineering team. We are prepared to train a motivated, enthusiastic person in the functions and requirements for this positon. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We are looking for a junior-level candidate, ideally with experience in Navy ship acquisition, ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Program Office in Washington DC
  • Utilize program IDE to track, store and provide status on Configuration Management changes, ECPs, CSE ECPs, MSCRs, RNs, Drawings, PPDs, Serial Letters, Work Specifications, Technical Manuals and other technical and contract related documents.
  • Utilize a database to track and maintain all cost data for DDG 51 changes.
  • Produce, maintain and provide reports for ECP metrics, including timelines and financial data.
  • Provide quarterly input for SPRs and AFB for CM Tasks.
  • Develop database queries and reports for various data calls.
  • Produce and maintain process flow charts and timeline requirements for CM processes.
  • Scan, compile and transfer all ECP and RN images for upload to the web-based system.

Qualifications

  • Minimum experience: none
  • Preferred experience: 2+ years of professional experience on Navy platforms performing configuration management work.
  • Degree: Bachelor’s degree or preferred experience
  • Secret Clearance

Salary
