Overview

R&P is looking for a motivated professional who wants to join our team. We are a mid-sized defense contractor providing program management, ship design, production, cyber risk management, testing, logistics, financial management, test and evaluation, configuration management, post-delivery, fleet introduction, light manufacturing, as well as maintenance and repair services to our government clients and industry partners. We need a financial/budget analyst ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment in support of the Strategic & Theater Sealift Shipbuilding Program (PMS 385). 

Responsibilities

  • Apply knowledge to support the Navy's use of DoD financial accounting systems including Program Budget Information System (PBIS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System (NEPS).
  • Apply knowledge in supporting the Navy's development of financial documentation with emphasis on Ship Construction- Navy (SCN) funding.
  • Provide initial budgetary products and updates to draft President's Budget (PB)/Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD)/ Department of Navy (DoN) budget exhibits for applicable appropriations.
  • Provide initial execution data, analysis, updates and impact statements, in support of mid-year execution and program reviews.
  • Prepare acquisition and budget financial reporting including Selected Acquisition Report (SAR), Department Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES) Report, Acquisition Program Baselines (APBs), Budget Exhibits, Obligation Phasing and Allocation Spend Plans, and Total Program Costs.
  • Support the Navy business, financial, and acquisition reporting data information systems and documents to provide Budget Execution, Budget Development and Defense, Accounting Reconciliation, and Acquisition Reporting.
  • Prepare and track funding execution documents to ensure acceptance and accurate recording in Navy financial systems.
  • Maintain financial status and historical records, reports, and assessments to identify program financial resources and shortfalls and obligations and expenditure data.
  • Assist in developing and defending budget resource requirements.
  • Prepare, review, and track Task Planning Sheets (TPSs), program requirements and development of phasing, allocation, and spend plans.
  • Execute, update, and track weekly funding documents and financial status reports, providing l inputs to the Program Manager/Business Financial Manager reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business/Management related discipline with 1+ Years' Experience in business finanical management.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of various Navy data repositories, such as N-ERP, NEPS, PBIS (Preferred)
  • Active Secret Clearance

Salary
