Overview

R&P is looking for a motivated professional who wants to join our team. We are a mid-sized defense contractor providing program management, ship design, production, cyber risk management, testing, logistics, financial management, test and evaluation, configuration management, post-delivery, fleet introduction, light manufacturing, as well as maintenance and repair services to our government clients and industry partners. We need a Configuration Manager / Engineer ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment in support of the Strategic & Theater Sealift Shipbuilding Program (PMS 385) / NAVSEA 05D Ship Design Manager for the AS(X) submarine tender program.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall Configuration & Change Management functions with a working knowledge and understanding of the complex requirements and financial analyses required to support the execution of an ACAT I shipbuilding program.
  • Provide configuration management (CM) support to the baseline manager in the development, review, and approval of ship Baseline and Configuration Management (CM) products.
  • Develop and present briefing materials to outline CM and baseline requirements and issues, Standard Operating Procedures and other CM documentation to support program level reviews and progress meetings, as required.
  • Recommends alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering related discipline with 10+ Years' of relevant experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Active Secret Clearance

Salary
