Overview

R&P is looking for a professional who wants to join our team. We are a medium sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a Project Contoller ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment.

Responsibilities

  • In support of executing Navy Services Contracts, assist the Program Managers and the Company Project Controller in contract financial management developing contract spend plans, forecasting EACs, assisting in the development of contract deliverables, conducting project set up and close out, and developing/reviewing invoices.
  • Monitor and evaluate the program office support contract to ensure that it is meeting budgetary and deadline goals.
  • Report to the Contract Program Manager and the COR to discuss the progress of each contract task, coordinate staffing needs, schedule changes, and scope adjustments.
  • Create and maintain reports addressing all financial aspects of the contract execution.
  • Supports program control and management in preparing operational review meetings.

 

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years' experience in contract financial management developing contract spend plans, forecasting EACs, assisting in the development of contract deliverables, conducting project set up and close out, and developing/reviewing invoices.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and collaborative team that is responsive and results-oriented.
  • Keen attention to detail; diligent.
  • Bachelor's Degree or 4 additional years' experience.
  • Ability to obtain a SECRET Clearance.
  • Prefer DOD service contract experience to include communicating with PCO/COR. 
  • Prefer experience with Unanet Accounting Systems.

Salary

R&P offers a highly competitive compensation package that includes contributions towards health insurance, 401(k) matching, and other non-salary benefits. Exact salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
