Overview

R&P is looking for a senior level Chief of Staff who wants to join our team. We are a mid-sized defense contractor providing Business Financial Management, Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We are seeking a qualified individual to provide direct support to the shipbuilding portfolio's Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager.  This is a high-trust, high-visibility role requiring sound judgement, discretion and an ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced environment aligned to assist the Navy in delivering new construction expeditionary and amphibious platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct analysis on work procedures and recommends changes to improve the effectiveness of the organization's management.
  • Prioritize mission-critical initiatives and effective execution of the customer's agenda.
  • Translate customer intent into executable plans and ensure alignment across directorate and stakeholders
  • Coordinate and assemble technical and/or programmatic content and decision support materials into technical briefings. 
  • Ensure timely follow-through on taskers, action items, and key initiatives.
  • Ability to communicate with senior leaders across the organization.
  • Position is an on-site seated position at the Washington Navy Yard, D.C.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years' related professional experience
  • High Profeciency in Microsoft products (i.e. Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience supporting Navy and/or Military Sealift Programs (preferred).
  • Active Secret Clearance

Salary
