- DoD/Navy ACAT I Program, Amphibious Assault Ship Class and Navy Fleet Introduction experience is required.

- Former LHA/LPD Deck/Engineering Department (Auxiliaries) sailor with Afloat Training Group experience is preferred.
- LHA/LPD Well Deck/Vehicle Deck/Flight Deck Operations experience is desired.
