Overview

R&P is looking for a senior professional who wants to join our team. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a Senior Operations Analyst ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment in support of PMS 300/325 - a Navy Ship Building Program.

Responsibilities

This senior operations research analyst position will help determine better ways to coordinate and manage large organizations that require the effective use of money, materials, equipment, and people. This positon supports development, management and analysis of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).

Additoinally, the operations research analyst will support diverse issues such as top-level strategy, planning, forecasting, resource allocation, performance measurement, scheduling, the design of production facilities and systems, supply chain management, pricing, transportation and distribution, and the analysis of large databases.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering or Business Management discipline, desired
  • 10+ years program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management; Prefer 15+ years program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management
  • Experience supporting acquisitoin integrated scheduling tools/software and Microsoft Project
  • Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) experence
  • Require DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); DoD/DoN contracting; experience communicating with SES/Flag level personnel; development of DoN acquisition document (e.g. Acquisition Strategy, Acquisition Program Baseline); supervisory; ship building experience; Prefer also Foreign Military Sales; Military Sealift Command procedures and processes experience
  • DoD security clearance (or ability to obtain a clearance)

Salary
