Additional desired experience and skills:
- Have Navy Surface Warfare background and DDG 51 class Chief Engineer, Combat Systems Officer or Aegis Systems Test Officer (STO)
- Apply operational background and experience gained from military service and leadership roles to solve current and/or future mission needs or to correct problem areas.
- Experience in Navy surface ship maintenance and modernization.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or related field.

- 5 years directly relevant work experience is required and 1-3 years of experience in program management, financial management, dashboard/metrics development, or data analysis preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Office suite skills to include Excel (macros, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.), PowerPoint, and MS Project, Power BI.
- Experience in Navy Acquisition Program Management is preferred.

- 10+ years of experience in the shipyard build, installation, and commissioning process of diesel engines on Amphibious Ship platforms in an industrial environment.
- Ability to assist the Shipyard and Navy in troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical issues associated with the Main Propulsion Diesel Engines (MPDEs) on Amphibious Ships.
- Ability to lead the Shipyard and/or Navy repair teams in correcting MPDE repairs up to and including engine overhauls.
- Must have a valid U.S. passport or the ability to obtain one upon position acceptance.
- Must be willing to travel up to 30% of the time.

The Contractor shall provide naval architecture, marine engineering, electrical engineering and in-depth engineering support for the Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E); Command, Control, Communications, Computers & Intelligence (C4I); and mission equipment and systems installed aboard ships, boats, craft and targets, including Combat Logistics Force (CLF), Special Mission Ships, and FMS assets.
- High School Degree or GED.
- Strong computer skills in the MS Office suite of software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access.
- Prior database experience with the ability to operate and update the Fleet Introduction Plan of Action and Milestone Program, Lessons Learned, ILS databases.
- Ability to provide the Ship's with programs, documentation, and deliverables electronically during crew development through move-aboard.
- Must be able to physically maneuver on board US Navy ships including accessing high and confined spaces and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Current Secret clearance or ability to obtain secret clearance.
